IRVINE, Calif. and LOS ANGELES, April 22, 2025 – Knobbe Martens is proud to share that three of the firm’s lawyers have been recognized by World Intellectual Property Review for their efforts to promote inclusion in the IP field as part of the publication’s 2025 “Diversity Awards”.
Partner Mark Lezama was recognized as a Diversity Champion for his work leading Knobbe Martens’ firmwide Diversity Committee and advancing inclusion initiatives in the Orange County legal community.
Partner Sheila Swaroop, who chairs the firm’s Litigation practice, was named a Most Influential Woman in IP. Ms. Swaroop was recognized for her decades-long track record as a successful litigator and her leadership within the firm and beyond.
Associate Ben Shiroma was named a Future Champion in recognition of his work to foster an inclusive workplace as co-chair of the firm’s Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) affinity group, as well as his dedication to mentorship within the firm and broader legal community.
