Partner Charlene Azema was recently honored by The Recorder as a “Lawyer on the Fast Track” at the California Legal Awards, a distinction awarded to “the next generation of legal leaders.” In a Q+A published following the Awards event, Ms. Azema offered insight into her career journey, client successes, and what builds up her life outside of work.
Ms. Azema, who counsels clients on trademark and copyright issues, emphasized her commitment to “providing tailored and business-focused advice” to clients. She also discussed her leadership roles on the firm’s Executive, Diversity and Mentorship committees, as well as her work outside of the firm advancing diversity, equity and inclusion within the legal community.
Speaking to several notable matters she has worked on in the last year, Ms. Azema said she takes “a detail-oriented approach with clients to advance all aspects of their global branding and IP strategy, which can be a diverse and varied practice.”
