Partner Maria Anderson, recently named to the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) Patent Public Advisory Committee (PPAC), shared her enthusiasm for joining the committee in its important work with Law360.
“I am excited to leverage my 30+ years of experience practicing before the USPTO to support its mission of fostering innovation and entrepreneurship,” she told Law360 in a story about the newly appointed committee members. “I look forward to assisting the committee and the USPTO with the challenging tasks of balancing the needs and concerns of its wide spectrum of customers, and in reducing barriers to entry to the patent profession, while maintaining the integrity of the patent bar.”
Ms. Anderson, co-founder of Knobbe Martens’ Seattle office, was sworn in as a PPAC member by former USPTO Director Kathi Vidal last month.
